[Guidelines] For Writers

Post by admin on February 24th 2010, 12:41 am

We want to make Ficlicious easy for everyone. So please read the following.

Step 1: Creating account. Please create an account with valid information, especially your email address. So if you happen to forget your password you won't have a problem by just resending your PW to your email.

Step 2: Posting Your Fan Fiction. Look for the pairing that you favor and post your fan fiction in the forum.
Example: Fan Fiction Index > DBSK Fan Fiction > [New Topic] > FILL IN

Code:

Subject : (Suggest the title to your fan fic) (Please post any symbol if it is a rated story) ex. Yaoi, Rated, NC-17...etc

Description : (Suggest your character names) ex. Jaejoong Kim, Yunho Jung...etc

Post your fan fiction in the white box. (Use the code buttons to customized your fan fiction contents)

So do we go to the topic then on the part that says
'New Topic' Do we click on that and then post that code thing in it?

I did a screen shot to show how everything works. When you update your story, you post under your story and then you link back to your your first post.

This is the result of the sample. Say that now you want to update your fan fiction. So under this topic, post your newest chapter > edit your 1st post > link to your chapter. (Suggest that you create a Chapter Index)

How to link to your post? (Your chapter)

Hope it helps, if you need any more explanation, let me know. Very Happy

Writers will have to edit their topic title (story title) and adding (Completed) to their story title; just like winglin.

Once ficlicious has more writers, an individual section will be added to keep ficlicious organize. Wink Right now we just have to wait until more writer choose ficlicious over winglin.

I'm confuse about the whole posting new chapters thing. Do you just continue editing that one post, or do we make more?

For every new chapter you post up, you should make it a new post.
After you post your new post aka. new chapter you should edit your first post for the topic because the first post for the chapter is use as a INDEX CHAPTER so readers can just click on the chapter which link to your chapter post.

If you need more help let me know. It' s pretty hard to explain. But so far, writers are doing a great job posting up their fiction. Try looking around and if you still need help explaining, let me know.

OK?
So when you're posting up a new chapter, you post onto another replay?

Yup Smile Like you can decorate it anyway you want with the codes. You can use image like Chapter, Index

like this:

Chapter Index
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3

Code:
[size=24][b]Chapter Index[/b][/size]
